brand unit, together with Alba Communications and Insiderei, developed the 12pts Magazine, the official Vienna city guide for the 60th Eurovision Song Contest, both in terms of content and graphics.

In 2014, Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, ensuring one of the world’s largest music events to return to Austria after 48 years. As the proud host city, Vienna welcomed thousands of visitors and of course fans should not only stan their idols, but also discover and explore the unique charm of this city. The 12pts Magazine made it as easy as possible to navigate the winding alleys of Vienna, while still encouraging them to experience the diverse and colorful city in all its splendor.

12 lovingly curated categories (from Vienna Allstars to Freaky Corners) each with 12 insider tips and portraits of the actual ‘leiwånd’ Vienna.

With an introduction to the bizarre Viennese dialect, an interview with Vienna’s mayor Michael Häupl and ESC host Arabella Kiesbauer, as well as an editorial with Conchita Wurst by photographer Maria Ziegelböck. Christian Qualtinger, son of the legendary Austrian jack of all trades Helmut Qualtinger, contributed the humorous introductions to the twelve chapters that can all be easily differentiated by their individual color codes. Monocle publisher Tyler Brulé named 12pts Magazine one of the best city guides and we were also invited to Brule’s M24 Radio/The Stack.
