Steirereck. Reitbauer. What else do you need to say?
Naturally, a top chef, who cooks at eye level with the Redzepis, Botturas and Adriàs of this world, needs a design language that relates that status. And yet, when it comes to the top of high-end cuisine, where perfection is expected, it is especially challenging to develop a unique and distinct profile. That’s exactly what made creating Steirereck’s ‘S Magazine’ a job to our liking.
The idea was to showcase Heinz Reitbauer’s extensive knowledge and his technical perfection and to offer a glimpse into his gastronomic world.
And what’s obvious when you work with Heinz Reitbauer? There is no downtime – just like in his kitchen. This is how S Magazine keeps evolving from issue to issue. And with the magazine also the team behind this corporate publishing project, because brand unit is not only in charge of the creative direction and art direction, but also assembles the international team of photographers and the managing editor. What runs consistently through all its issues are the four pillars of the magazine’s concept: the special produce, its producers, the refinement by Heinz Reitbauer and finally the Steirereck’s special ambience. In 2020, for the tenth time the ADC Art Directors Club Germany awarded the S-Magazin one of its nails.
